This is a powerful healing Kriya which you can use on yourself or direct your focus to someone else who needs healing. It is a beautiful unique mantra that when sung captures radiant energy to be used for many purposes.

In this particular Kriya it is used for healing and awareness.

It uses the mantra:

RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG.

Each sound is a current that stimulates the kundalini energy to flow up the Shushumna through each chakra and up the spine. As this happens there is usually a huge metabolic adjustment to the new level of energy in the body. The brain is also involved. The sounds balance the five zones of the left and right hemispheres of the brain to activate the Neutral Mind.

Each sound has a meaning:

RA means the energy of the Sun: strong, bright, and hot. It energises and purifies.

MA is the energy of the Moon. It is a quality of receptivity, coolness, and nurturing.

DA is the energy of Earth. It is secure, personal, and the ground of action.

SA is the impersonal Infinity. The cosmos in all of its open dimensions and totality is SA.
These four sounds move energy up through the crown chakra, moving into expansion and connecting with infinity.

Then the mantra repeats the sound:

SA. This repetition is an energetic turning point. Here the energy moves back down to Base Chakra and then to the earth bringing with it all the high conscious infinite energetic properties with it that was accumulated on the way up.

SAY means the totality of experience and is personal. It is the feeling of a sacred “Thou.” It is the embodiment of SA.

SO is the personal sense of merger and Identity.

HUNG is the Infinite, vibrating and real.
The two qualities together (SO and HUNG) mean, “I am Thou.”

How to do the kriya:

It uses the mantra: RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG.

You chant this out loud. At the ‘SO HUNG’ part you pull in your belly button towards the spine.

1. Sit in easy seated pose (or and posture) with your spine straight and chin lightly pulled in and back.

2. Eyes closed.

3. Elbows are bent so that upper arms are against the side of your body and the hands are at shoulder height.

4. Wrists are flexed so that palms are flat facing upwards. You must hold this flexed position through the set.

5. Chant the mantra out loud for 11 minutes.

6. After the 11 minutes are done, raise your arms above your head and hold your breath in while you visualize yourself and the other person surrounded by white light. Imagine that you and the other person are healed, healthy, radiant and happy. Exhale. Keep the arms in the air and repeat the inhale followed by holding the breath and the visualization before you relax.

7. Lie down and relax for 5 minutes.
